Back from Origins!!!

Well we made it back from Origins safe and sound, and overall Yojimbo was a huge success. The miniatures were sold out by Saturday morning, and several of the 1st Printing Rule Books were sold.

I'd personally like to thank all of you that came by and invested your time and money into the game, and hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

Just a small update as I sit here drinking a Makers and Coke while simultaneously trying to finish up the rules. Blame the whiskey for any spelling errors. Seriously, I am in a great mood. My Grad School Finals are over and I can concentrate completely on drinki...wait I mean finishing the rules and sculpting new figures. The plan is still to have the core rules ready for Origins and hopefully I can get this next batch of 14 figures out to Jim by Monday. They include the Ashigaru Spearmen (5 figures), Ninjas (4 figures), and the Monks (5 figures).

Also working on getting material ready for the Official Yojimbo website in the next couple of weeks. Shoot me any questions or comments if you got 'em!

Yojimbo is coming!!!

The first release of new miniatures for the upcoming game Yojimbo will arrive this month (April 2010), and be available exclusively through http://www.victoryforce.com/. The first wave of figures will include three packs of five figures each. I will have pictures up this weekend of painted samples from each pack. Following close behind this release will be Retainer (leaders) figures to lead these unit packs. Several new releases will occur over the next two to three months and will continue with new releases every other month.

The rules will be released at Origins in June, so if you have the opportunity to go be sure to stop by our booth and say hello, and jump in a demo game.

US MARINES (circa 2007)

These guys are a multi-part kit. Still working on heads and weapons and little details. Plan is to have the following weapon options for this pack: M16A4, M4A4, AT-4, M249 SAW, a m203 attachment for the M16 and M4, Benelli Shotgun, and M9 Pistol. I will probably add two other leg sets, one running and another crouched. Haven't really decided how this will be pacjkaged yet but am thinking it will be a squad pack, so you can make 13 figures, and I'll have a special squad leader figure included.

Jubei WIP

The first character figure I have almost completed for Yojimbo. You may notice his eye patch is made from a katana tsuba. He is lightly armored, but is trained in the shadow arts which make him a very quick and elusive opponent.

Work in Progress of Skeleton Samurai. This is the first of a multi part kit. So there will be two other leg sets, two torsos, a bunch of arms with different weapon options, and of course different heads with and without helmets.
